I am an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) at the Department of Humanities and Arts at the Technion.

My work lies primarily at the intersection of the metaphysics and epistemology of conscious sensory experience and the empirical study of perception. I connect the philosophy of perception with a range of topics in cognitive science, including Weber’s Law and signal detection theory (psychophysics), predictive processing, visual search, attention, visual working memory, visual segmentation, and mental rotation. I also contribute to psychological experiments that test philosophical claims about perception.

Aside from perception, I am interested in broader philosophy of mind/cognitive science topics, such as the nature of mental represenations and the mind body problem.

I previously held an ISF grant to study the iconicity of perception, theoretically and experimentally.

I currently hold a DFG grant titled "Naive Realism under Pressure" (with Ori Beck and Eva Schmidt). The project will run from August 2024 till July 2027.

Before moving to the Technion, I was a researcher in philosophy at BGU, working with Ori Beck (as part of a program of the Planning & Budgeting Committee of the Council of Higher Education to support hiring excellent researchers in the status of ‘researcher’).

I was also a faculty member in philosophy at the Open University of Israel, with the rank of 'course coordinator' (a type of job unique to the Open University). I coordinated advanced courses on epistemology, virtue ethics, and mental representations, and an introduction to philosophy course based on the book "just the arguments".
